Purchase and License Terms

1. Provider and subject matter of the contract

The provider is Thomas Iking, Meskesweide 30, 48703 Stadtlohn, Germany; Email: mail@ucalq.com. The subject of the contract is the version of U-CalQ Desktop for Windows offered at the time of purchase, including a simple, unlimited right to use this version for one workstation. Mobile activations are not included.

2. Price and ordering

The one-off price is €49.90 including VAT. There is no subscription. Payment is made via Stripe. You can cancel the order until binding confirmation on the Stripe payment page. After successful payment and payment verification, the download including license key will be provided. The order confirmation can be saved permanently on the confirmation page.

3. Provision and Use

The download will only be activated after confirmed payment. An internet connection is required for download and initial license activation. The unlocked software can be used offline for its local calculation functions. A change of workplace must be requested via support. Sharing the license key for simultaneous use on multiple workstations is not permitted. Legally binding rights remain unaffected.

4. Updates and professional engagement

The purchase includes the main version offered. Future main versions subject to separate charges are not part of this offer. Statutory update and defect rights remain unaffected. U-CalQ is used for rough preliminary design and variant comparison and does not replace project-specific technical evidence.

5. Cancellation policy for consumers

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reasons. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us, Thomas Iking, Meskesweide 30, 48703 Stadtlohn, Germany, email: mail@ucalq.com, telephone: 02563 / 5790, of your decision by means of a clear statement (e.g. letter or email). You can use the pattern below for this; this is not mandatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient that you send the message before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of revocation

If you revoke this contract, we must repay all payments that we have received from you immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your notification of the revocation. We will use the same payment method for the repayment as in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for this repayment.

Early expiry of digital content

In the case of digital content that is not provided on a physical data carrier, the right of withdrawal expires under the legal requirements at the beginning of the fulfillment of the contract after you have expressly agreed to the beginning before the end of the withdrawal period, confirmed your knowledge of the loss of the right of withdrawal and received a corresponding contract confirmation.
